Post your twitter status update right from firefox address bar

TwitterBar is an extension for the Mozilla Firefox Web browser (originally written by Tony Farndon) that allows you to post to Twitter from the Firefox address bar. Just type your tweet in the address bar and click the TwitterBar icon to send it to Twitter. You can also post the URL of the page you’re currently reading by clicking the TwitterBar icon in the address bar.

Clicking on it will post your tweet, and you can hover your mouse over it to see how many characters you have left.

TwitterBar is a great add-on for posting your twitter status update right from firefox's address bar. There are no extra applications running on my computer. When I get a thought worth "tweeting", I simply type it in my address bar and click the Twitter icon. Its easy, fast and effective. What do you think ?

You can also post by typing "--post" at the end of your tweet. Clicking the Twitter icon when visiting a webpage will send a tweet containing the URL of the webpage you are currently viewing. So keep tweeting and keep surfing
